Johan's homepage

My name is Johan Hansson and I'm a fourth year graduade in Computer Science at the department of Informatics, Lund University, in Sweden (well... not yet actually, I'm still working at my master thesis).
What intrests me when it comes to computers is neither making graphics nor coding - I mostly work within the area of music where I put together fancy tunes, most of these for my private satisfaction, though. However, I have made some music for a game called Bubble Pop (S.O.S. productions) and other games are probably coming up soon. The music I put together for this, however, did'nt satisfy me since I'm of the opinion that the tracker (if that's what it's supposed to be called) I used to accomplish the tunes is too primitive, at least for my taste. I prefer working with editors like Fasttracker but also with similar like Imagetracker. Although it takes a while to come to know the IT i think it's quite an exciting tracker since there is the possability to use up to 64 different channels, not to forget the fact that it's not at all as user-oriented as the FT (but since nothing come for free, I like it that way). The fact that these tracker use a lot of processor-time makes it practically impossible to use any of the songs made in any game or similar. However, that's not my problem as I'm only making the music - not the code. Unfortunately I have not had time to put any of my modules on this page - that will be a further issue.
